PURPOSE OF EVENTS:
* Exchange of experiences and ideas in the field of street dance between dancers and instructors.
* Maintaining the traditions and principles of Hip Hop culture and other forms of street dance.
* Popularizing street dance as an active form of spending time and having fun, establishing new contacts.

APPLICATION:
* Participation will be conditional upon sending the application electronically and making an entry fee no later than November 5, 2023.

We know from experience that some of you will want to subscribe to the site, but please send us your requests for the email below. It will take 30 seconds and we will facilitate faster registration and attendance of participants on the day of the event :)

* Please provide the name of the soloist and the names of the members of the dance group. And also email and phone number.
* The Organizer reserves the right to close the list immediately if the space limit is exhausted. Thus signing up on the day of the event is not possible.
* The age of the oldest participant in the formation or duet is determined by age.
* Participation fee is 50 PLN (per person) + 35 PLN for each next category on the above account number. Exceptionally, foreigners can pay on the spot.

* In the event of resignation from participation in the tournament, the buy-in refund is only possible if the organizer is informed of this fact up to 3 days before the event. Or as resignation from a given category on the day of the tournament - personal collection. Otherwise, the entry fee is not refunded.
* Number of seats is limited to startup lists. Only the entry fee to the account is a guarantee for getting a place on the list.
* Each dancer or group after registration has a start number that must be displayed prominently.
* Carer / dancer is obliged to register in the hours designated by the service provider. In case of non-appearance the participant is automatically deleted from the start list.
* Minors who do not have a guardian for the duration of "G.C.'23" must have a written agreement to participate in the tournament.
* Sending a notification automatically links you with the consent to disclose your personal information to the public on the official tournament LIST. According to the Data Protection Act, if you do not agree, please contact us by email or phone with the tournament organizer.

* Submitting the application is automatically combined with consenting to the disclosure of personal data to the public on the official tournament  list of participants. Pursuant to the Act on the Protection of Personal Data, in the event of not giving such consent, please contact the tournament organizer by e-mail or by phone.

WAACKING 1 vs.1 (Fresh & Pro) - presentations, battle, organizer music.

2. Waacking  style dance experience over 2 seasons or dancers with achievements (PRO)

POPPING 1 vs. 1 (Fresh & Pro) - presentations,  battle, organizer music.

1. Popping   style dance experience max. 2 seasons (FRESH)

2. Popping  style dance experience over 2 seasons or dancers with achievements (PRO)

STREET DANCE Crew SHOW (do 10 lat, 11-14 lat, 15+, 30+)  - only presentations, own music 2 min 30 sec.

PRESENTATIONS:
* Parquet size:   ....
* Formations can count from 3 to 10 people in STREET DANCE CREW (restrictions are related to the size of the parquet floor). If the coach decides to start more people in the formation then it is solely on his / her responsibility.
* Participants may only present themselves once in a given dance formation.
* The soloists dance to the organizer's music in individual outputs, time up to 45 seconds. The form of circles is also allowed, i.e. each participant dances with the rest of the participants in circles, and the Jury selects the outstanding ones. These people go on to the next round. 32 or 16 (only presentations,) or 8 soloists will be selected to fight the battle (the number of exits is determined by the jury).
* The three/two-person jury appointed by the organizer will be evaluated, which has the right to judge according to their own criteria.
* The jury may discontinue the performance if it exceeds the time limit specified in the rules.

 

AWARDS:
* cups, medals, monetary and material awards

ORGANIZATIONAL MATTERS:
* All bands and soloists come at their own expense or delegation.
* Each participant has a school ID or other ID.
* There is no ban on alcoholic beverages or smoking tobacco (or any other) . 

* Persons who do not comply with this rule will be strictly disqualified or excused from the event.
* Participants are insured at their own expense.
* Group are required to send music on groovecontest@op.pl by November 5, 2023
* During the performances, the use of fire and pyrotechnic materials is forbidden.
* The organizer is not responsible for the things left in the dressing rooms.
* Groups participating in GROOVE CONTEST should have an adequate number of carers who are fully responsible for the safety of the participants.
* Detailed presentation of the group will be received on arrival.
* Please send all questions and issues to the organizer.
* Adhering to the rules will help us to properly and efficiently prepare and conduct the event.
* Please come to the registration and start the tournament on time. Persons who expect delays are asked to call on the day of the event.
* We keep order at the tournament site;)
* All participants are obliged to observe the health and safety regulations in the premises.
* For advertising in any form, you must get the organizer's approval.
